Our Story and Team

Our Story

Hi, I’m Rio, the family pet, and in 2021, my family started the original Rio’s Barkery, inspired by my love for dog treats. Since then, I’ve had a very busy life:  The family moved to a new house in a new town, and I’ve been sniffing my way through the community to meet new, wonderful people and pets, and to sniff out new inspiring flavors for our dog treats.  Plus, I got a new human sister.  She smells pretty good too, especially after I give her big, wet doggie kisses!  Sad part was I had to put the barkery on pause.

I have an old doggie friend named Fergus, who also loves our treats, and it was Fergus who asked me to bake treats again. Between my awesome friend Fergus and my persistent treat-craving self, my family decided to restart the business and make more delicious treats. Now, the humans in my life are making gluten-free cookies with carob (because chocolate isn’t all that great for us doggies). We also make our yummy meal bar for the doggie on the go. And best of all, our company changed its name because my little sister calls me Wyo, instead of Rio.  So now, we are officially called Wyo’s Woofery. The name might have changed but the mission stays the same, we want to make treats that doggies crave!

Rio

CDO

Hey there! I'm Rio, but my little sister insists on calling me Wyo. Welcome to
Wyo's Woofery, the greatest woofery you'll ever find! My mom vowed she'd
never bake treats—like, ever—but guess who had other plans? (Hint: It’s me!) I
kept baking away, and what do you know, I fell head over heels for it. I’ve
sampled every single recipe myself (yes, I'm that dedicated) and only whip
up treats that pass the rigorous taste tests of my oh-so-discerning palate. So,
get ready for some seriously scrumptious goodies!

Mission

To bake up doggy cuisine so mouthwateringly marvelous, it'll have dogs licking their lips and begging for more, transforming mealtime into an adventure of flavor and fun!

Vision

We hope to make the lives of doggy parents easier and more fun by creating products pooches crave.

Values

We value Inclusion, Respect, Accountability, Communication, Curiosity, and Creativity.
